5th  International Summer University offered to under grad., post grad and PhD. students coming from ALL FIELDS OF SCIENCE

All accepted students of the University of Pécs receive a 100% scholarship

Setting : Six weeks in Pécs from 16 June - 27 July  2010

We will be celebrating the inauguration of the fifth Simonyi summer university mid June this year, building on four years of successful co-operations with the regional firms and organizations. The University of Pécs Faculty of Business and Economics-Simonyi program, together with the Ohio University will be hosting students from the USA, Britain, Serbia , Hungary and other countries, in co-operation with the British Sheffield University and the Serbian Subotica (Szabadka) University. Students will be participating in research and consulting projects in  two week  and a six week long programs.

For students who would like to:

• …Participate in entrepreneurship and business management  projects aimed at helping engineering, medical, industrial, hi-tech, tourism, entertainment, and other organizations
• … Learn how to develop a business from their own  ideas, knowledge, skills and other assets
• …Enrich their C.V.’s , establish good connections with local and international peers, businesses and officials
• …Understand managers, business leaders and entrepreneurs  coming from any background and to help them with them improve their current and future status
• ¨ Learn something unique about business  not in the textbooks
• ¨ Work with a diverse range of people from all sorts of medical, management,  technical, arts and social studies background at PhD., MBA., MS., and  under grad levels

The Simonyi program is sponsored by Charles Simonyi, the Hungarian-American entrepreneur.

• High motivation and willingness to work, add value and have fun
• Interested in learning and experiencing  entrepreneurship, the processes of  commercializing innovation and organizational management 
• An open-mind for gaining new experiences in  working with people coming from different backgrounds and various fields of study

ALL STUDENTS WILL GET A CERTIFICATE OF MERIT UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE PROGRAM!
